It is the third film in the Asylum's
2012 "series"[citation needed], however, none of them share a common plot. The other two being 2012 mockbusters 2012: Doomsday and also 2012: Supernova.
Plot:
A glacier moves quickly towards North America, specifically the Eastern Seaboard, at 200 mph after a sudden and extremely violent volcanic eruption in Iceland.
A series of freak climate and weather events occur such as winter-like snow in August. A family has to pull together to escape what seems like a coming ice age.
