The World's End is a 2013 British science fiction comedy film directed by Edgar Wright and starring Rosamund Pike, Simon Pegg, Martin Freeman. Five childhood friends reunite after twenty years to repeat a legendary pub crawl from their youth (which they originally failed) returning to their hometown once again to attempt to reach the fabled pub "The World’s End". Over the course of the night, they realize that the town has been taken over by robots so they begin to realise that the real struggle is "not just theirs but humankind’s", and completing the crawl becomes the least of their worries.
